Hi All,

Sue & I will not be able to make the jolly old do this year but we would like to jump on the band wagon as a few of the others have already done, to wish all of you that are going a spiffing time! Do have a glass of something nice on our behalf and hope to see you all in due course perhaps next year?

No reports of Binge Drinking please! There is enough of that in the news nowadays - Not that any of you would do such a thing of course.

Best of everything

Hi! Dave
Many thanks for your donation of £50 to get Reggie a few drinks - but, what about the remainder of the lads?
Did you notice Charlie has been awarded the OBE (OSCAR, BUNTINTOSSER EXTRAORDINARY) and KCMG (KENNEL CLUB - MONGREL GROUP).
I'll leave the VC to you filthy lot!
Charlie, Dave & Jean, Pincher.
Please disregard our movement dates onboard the QE2 which I sent in my last email; for 1st June read 31st May through to the 16th June when we return to Southampton to disembark.
When we arrive at Southampton on the evening of 30th May, Dave and Jean, I will phone. If you are not at home, I will ring you on arrival at the QE2 docks on the 31st.
Regards
George

Hi Guys,

Panic Stations.

Has anyone got a contact number for Priggers Price, he and his wife are coming to the reunion,

The Hotel is full but the manager has found a place to put them up at his sisters (same prices).

So is there anyone who can inform him, or give me his number so I can.

Thanks Lads,

Chris.

OK Chris,
Priggers phoned me a couple of days ago to ask if I knew where the reunion was being held as he and Joyce had decided to go. I phoned the hotel and spoke to Alec (the owner) and he has arranged everything for Priggers. I have also once again phoned Priggers and he is aware of the full situation.
Panic over!

Lincoln May 06 - Monday 29th and thinking to myself - How many of last night's Balls of Fire are now today a heap of ashes? Perhaps a few sore heads and slightly off colour. Hope you all had a good re-union you lot and get home safely. Best wishes for the noo

Frank, being an undernourished child of a large family that went through the war years, and rationing till the early fifties. I had my first steak in Broome in 1959. It was a large T bone steak bigger than a normal dinner plate, three eggs on top and all the trimmings. I was in heaven and will remember that steak all my life. Our next port of call was Geraldton where I had my second steak in my life. From memory it was a beautiful cosmopolitan place Broome. Keep well buddy and enjoy it. Harry

Thanks to all who made the effort in Lincoln. All in all a pretty good run even without priggers!! Everyone got blasted or 'staid' sober and took the pith. Considering a warship never got as far as Lincoln they seemed to know a lot about us. We did show some respect for our collective age and just got hammered a bit quicker. Thanks to our hosts and the RNA Bungy Williams {who made us very welcome}. Next year we are trying for Guzz but concenus at the mo suggestgs that it might be a bit too far (sorry Topsy keep trying) so far I have had only 7 positive replies so I am looking at an alternative probably in the midlands. Regards to all and a special thanks to Tex and Barb who we hope to see again back in the old country. Failing that perhaps the next PU can be in Sydney....Only kidding Rog.
If anyone talks to Reg before I do let him know that he had a good run.

Hi all, BZ to all those who made it to Lincoln where a good run was had by all (somebody let Reg know he had a good run} Thanks to our Guest house host Alec and his family who made us really welcome. Thanks also the the RNA (Bungy Williams) who did their best on Saturday lunch to make sure we could drink too much Saturday night (Unlucky -that plan didnt work). Tex and Barb ma
de it from Aus but Priggers couldnt find it from Wales.....No comment.
Lou, we did respect our collective ages and just got blasted quicker.
Next year Topsy has asked that I try and organise a Run in Guzz but so far I've only had 7 positive replies, as an alternativ e I'm looking a venue in the midlands, possibly Leamington Spa, where apparently Eagle also never went!!!
